Two Roll Mill Machine Details

 

HEXA PLAST Two Roll Mill Machines with fixed speed and friction is laid out for constant working conditions. The machine is accessible with roll diameters of 150 mm. (as per requirement). For relentless friction, the rear roll is driven by spur gears. In order to fulfill individual requirements, modifications for speed and friction are possible within certain steps.

The rolls are aligned in stiff frames. The rear roll is in a fixed position for good access to the rolls. The front roll is often moved with a hand shaft. The central adjustment assures parallel movement. The working width is laid out for both plastics and rubber processing. The drive system is provided with a knee-actuated switch for an emergency stop. The opening can be done by hand to the necessary safety distance however without turning of the rear roll.

Corrosion-resistant steel is employed to form these rolls and are surface hardened. A central lubrication system combined with a high-temperature resistant seal ring sallow and low maintenance operation. The Cartridges provide electrical heating energy. Heat distribution is controlled in three different zones in order to equalize the difference over the roll. The Two Roll Mill is equipped with a contactor control system. Roll temperature is controlled with digital controllers. The machine can be operated from both sides through the operating units which are mounted in an adjustable panel.

Electric and drive system is incorporated within the machine frame with easy accessibility for maintenance. The machine needs supply connections only and will be delivered with integrated controls.

What is Two Roll Mill?

 

Lab Two Roll Mill is an open type rubber refining machine. Rubber factory makes plastic rubber, mixed rubber or hot refining, out of a sort of rubber roller exposed machine.

Even though the size of the mill is different, but its basic structure is similar. Within the process of rubber refining, the mill mainly relies on two relatively rotating rollers to squeeze and shear the rubber. After repeatedly kneading and the chemical action accompanying the kneading process, the chain of big molecules inside the rubber is broken. Various components inside the rubber are mixed evenly, and at last the purpose of rubber refining is achieved.
